the GUIminer site was down when I tried to go to the link. I saw the alternative software that they were saying to use was Guiminer, tho it was supposedly not recommended at the time. so … the process of using cgminer that we have seen posted in other tutorials will work fine supposedly for ASIC machines tho. I have found a lot of information from 4 years or more ago and this is what I think I have learned… in one of the guides I saw it mentioned that CGMINER HAS REMOVED GPU SUPPPORT AS OF 3.72 or something to that effect, maybe slightly different version, but anyway I went to the cgminer download page and looked for previous versions and there was none with a 3.xx all of them were 4.xx ones. So I don’t trust having to mine on antpools “solo mining pool” because it is still not on the network it is on a pool, and I want to mine directly on the network for the newly created blocks directly to my wallet. some ppl seem to suggest just buying the antrouter R1 but it is freaking awful and more of a gimmick in my opinion. It is possible in bitcoin to make a “lottery machine” out of a computer and a small usb miner… I don’t give a ■■■■ about bitcoin and wanted to do the same thing in litecoin. So I too am trying to get this set up in the last few days and have run into issues being able to solo mine litecoin… I can mine this stuff all day but not so much in litecoin…
This may occasionally happen if another node generates a block within a few seconds of yours. If it fails to get into the chain, its state will change to “not accepted” and it won’t be spendable. When you generated this block, it was broadcast to the network to be added to the block chain. Generated coins must mature 25 blocks before they can be spent.

I got 25 gigabyte h110mb with cheap Celeron cpus and 2gb ddr4s with 30gb sd cards running windows home trial. My plan is to use litecoin wallet as the server and use cgminer to do the mining over a local network. but now that information is outdated and I cant get the bloody thing to work. Now I found some very use full things online when it come to solo mining from 2012. This was a deal with some other stuff I bought, I am planning to use all of them at one time to do some mining. and just got a delivery of 50 gtx 750 delivered. I happened to own a business selling pc hardware in Australia. Now I know that solo mining is almost impossible now days but I want to try for testing purposes. so if I say something stupid please forgive me.
